Customer Reviews
Good coffee, decent delivery time
I ordered the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe single origin beans and a V60 dripper. The website was easy to navigate, and placing the order was straightforward. I used the subscription discount, which made the price pretty competitive. Delivery took about 6 days to get to my place in California, which felt reasonable coming from the UK. The coffee itself was fresh, had a good roast date, and tasted great in the V60. I had a quick question about grind size for my AeroPress, and customer support got back to me within a day. They recommended a specific setting which worked out well. The dripper felt sturdy and good quality. Overall, a solid experience, I'd order again.
Good value on a subscription
I signed up for the coffee subscription to get the discount on their single origin beans. It felt like a good deal, especially with the automatic savings. The website was clear about the pricing and how the subscription worked. I got the Kenya Gatuya, and it brewed a nice cup. I'm always looking for ways to save, and this subscription made it worth the purchase. No issues with the order or billing.
Fast shipping, great beans
Got the espresso blend. Shipped fast. Beans were fresh. Made good lattes. No complaints. Would buy again.
Nice coffee, but delivery could improve
I decided to try their decaf coffee beans and a digital coffee scale. The coffee quality was excellent, really enjoyed the flavor and it didn't taste like typical decaf. The scale works well and seems accurate. My main critique is the delivery time; it took just over a week to arrive. While the free delivery over a certain amount is a plus, I wish there was a slightly faster, albeit paid, option for US customers. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the shipping status. Value for money is good, especially for the quality of the decaf.

What's their return policy like if I order beans and don't like the roast or something?
Anyone know if you can use a first-time customer discount AND get the subscription discount together? Or is it one or the other?
Hey, I'm thinking about getting some beans from here. How long does shipping usually take to, like, New York?
Does anyone know if they offer coffee that's already ground specifically for espresso machines? Or is it just whole bean?
Just wondering about the ethical sourcing stuff. Are their beans actually 'direct trade' or is it more of a marketing thing?
